Flooding in Peru

Recently, severe rains have battered the nation of Peru, causing widespread flooding in areas that usually receive a half-inch of rain each year. In the city of Trujillo, which has experienced flash flooding after 10 days of heavy storms, virtually every significant avenue and street has turned into a raging river. Peru Mission, a ministry partner of Redeemer based in Trujillo, which hosted a Redeemer mission team in the summer of 2016, has requested our support as they respond to this national tragedy.

Parque Industrial - Peru Your gift will allow our friends with Peru Mission to bring relief to deeply affected areas where they already have a significant ministry presence through church planting, establishing schools and community development. During this crisis, Peru Mission is meeting basic needs in the community by providing daily meals and water to up to 200 people a day and offering free medical care in some of the hardest-hit areas.

You can give online here to help with the flood relief efforts of Peru Mission. Please designate your gift as "Compassion Fund."

You may also mail gifts to this address, designating your check to "Compassion Fund: Trujillo Flood Relief."
