Notes from the Recent Women’s Retreat!

Deep in the heart of the woods near Blanco, Texas, women from different cultures, languages, and spiritual backgrounds came together on November 8th and 9th to experience "good things."  The cool of fall had begun changing the leaves to vivid red and yellow and the breeze cradled them slowly down from the treetops to end up as tiny boats on the Blanco River.  The warm food filled our chilly stomachs.  The conversation, authentic sharing and music warmed our souls.  Singing hymns of praise with true friends, old and new, while gathered into a small cabin, makes you think you are getting a bit of a foretaste of heaven.  Redeemer Fall Women's Retreat was a tremendous blessing of good things, and if you didn't get a chance to attend, we invite you to join us in our challenge from Marissa Bondurant to keep any type of list of the good things the Lord is giving you.  Also, keep your eyes open for the next opportunity to spend time with this diverse, blessed group of women.  "Let them thank the Lord for his steadfast love, for his wondrous works to the children of man!  For he satisfies the longing souls, and the hungry soul he fills with good things."  Psalm 107:8-9
