Officer Candidates Profiles

We are pleased to announce that the following men are approved and recommended as candidates for service on the diaconate or session for the class of 2020. Please be in prayer for these men and get to know them if you do not already. Officer elections will be held at a congregational meeting on Sunday, June 4th, immediately following the second service.

Eligible to serve on the Session (Class of 2020)

Bernard HildEbrand

Bernard Hildebrand is a first-time candidate to serve on the session. Bernard grew up in New Braunfels and began attending Redeemer in 2006.  In 2010, he received military orders to serve at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, Nevada.  In 2013, Bernard and his family returned to Fort Sam Houston, and they resumed worshipping at Redeemer.

Bernard is a Rheumatologist/Internist and will separate from active military duty in May 2017 to serve as a faculty member in the new medical school at the University of the Incarnate Word in South San Antonio.  He has been active in medical mission work in San Antonio and parts of Latin America for the past few years and recently completed training necessary to lead medical mission teams in support of the church planting efforts of Mission to the World.  

Bernard is married to Georgianna and they have three children, Bernard "Trey," 12; Julianna, 11; and Mariam, 6.

 

Jason L. register Jason Register

Jason is a native of Birmingham, Alabama and has been a member at Redeemer since 2002. This is his third term on the session. Jason is vice president at CARCO Mineral Resources, Inc. He and his wife Kacey have four children: Gates, 17; Ellison, 12; John Bishop, 12; and Mary Simmons, 9.

 

 

Jason Smith

Jason is a native of Helotes, Texas and has been a member at Redeemer since 2002. This is his third term of service on the session. Jason works in marketing at HOLT CAT. He and his wife, Jennifer, have three children: Sydney, 14; Luke, 13; and Levi, 9.

 

Eligible to serve on the Diaconate (Class of 2020)

Rob Bondurant

Rob is a native of San Antonio and has been at Redeemer since 2006. This is his second term of office with the diaconate. Rob is an attorney and is married to Marissa. They have three children.

 

 

Charlie HargisCharlie Hargis

Charlie Hargis is a native of San Antonio and has been at Redeemer since 2002. This is his second term of office with the diaconate. Charlie works in commercial real estate. He is married to Jennifer, and they have two children, Cameron, 7, and Addie, 4.
