Officer Candidate Profiles

We are pleased to announce that the following men are approved and recommended as candidates for service on the diaconate or session for the class of 2021. Please be in prayer for these men and get to know them if you do not already. Officer elections will be held at a congregational meeting on Sunday, June 3rd, immediately following the second service.

Eligible to serve on the Session (Class of 2021)

David Schwab

David is a new candidate for the office of elder. David and his wife Jennie moved to San Antonio in 2015, and have been members of Redeemer since 2016.  He is currently helping lead a community group and teaches 6th grade Sunday School. David is Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary at Zachry Group.  The Schwabs have four children:  Sam, 10; Jack, 9; Peter, 7; and Annie, 6.

John Browning

John is a native of San Antonio and has been a member of Redeemer since 2008.  This is his third term on the Session.  John is a dermatologist and president of Texas Dermatology.  He and his wife, Lauren, have three children: Caleb, 11, Lily Margaret, 9, and Camp, 6.

Henry Sauer

Henry is a native of Houston, Texas and has been a member of Redeemer since 2005.  This is his second term on the Session.  Henry is Talent Practice Lead with BuildGroup.  He and his wife Mary Kessler have four children:  Henry, 18; Wyatt, 16; Lindy, 15; and Lucy, 11.

Winston Meeker (Class of 2019)

Winston is a native of San Antonio and has been a member of Redeemer since 2011. This is his second term on the session. He is the IT Development Workcenter Lead at Bible Study Fellowship. He and his wife Tammy have seven children: Charis, 21; Montana, 19; Alexandria, 16; Anna Grace, 14; Winston Jr. (Stone) 12; Allison, 10; Ezekiel, 8.

Chris Allen

Chris Allen is a native of Washington, Missouri and has been a member at Redeemer since 2015. He is an active duty Army Officer stationed at Fort Sam Houston. Chris and his wife Lynette have two children: Abigail 16, and Joel, 13.

Eric Arguello

Eric Arguello was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. The Arguello family have been members of Redeemer since 2015.  Eric is a senior inspector with the United States Marshals Service. He and his wife Amy have 2 children, Samuel 20, and Mia 12.

Alex Beaugh

Alex Beaugh is a native Texan and has called San Antonio home for the past 30 years. He and his family have been at Redeemer since 2011. Alex is an IT manager of Application Engineering at Rackspace. His wife, Sarah, is on the RPC staff as Director of Children’s Ministries, and they have three girls: Naomi, 12; Petra, 9; and Eden, 7.

Craig Goedecke

Craig came to San Antonio in 1988 where God reached him through Young Life staff and brought him to faith. He and his wife, Elizabeth, have attended Redeemer since 2006. They have two children, Cal (8) and Greta Mae (6). This will be Craig's third term on the Diaconate.
