One Life. What's It All About?

'One Life.  What's It All About?' is the tag line for the Christianity Explored class that began last Sunday at Redeemer. This class is the first in our 6-class Spiritual Formation curriculum. It's a unique and important class.

Christianity Explored is a unique place for non-Christians, former Christians, young Christians and even mature Christians to gather in an informal setting to discuss Jesus.  The class gives space for people to ask and discuss questions.  We won't ask anyone to pray out loud or sing songs.  We will, however, help people build friendships and provide a thoughtful look at who Jesus is and why he came. You can watch an introduction here.

The class is led by Angel and Jeremy Whitley and begins at 10:45 each Sunday in the adult classroom downstairs (B-7).  Every week they will have refreshments and coffee.

Not only is this class unique, but it is important. Redeemer in a place where people come from all over San Antonio with all kinds of backgrounds. We assume that most folks are still discovering who Jesus is. This class is one avenue to help everyone know Jesus more.

You can help in three ways:

  1. Invite your friends outside of Redeemer to take the class with you.
  2. Encourage your new friends at Redeemer to take the class.
  3. Take the class yourself.  Even if you've been a Christian for years, this class is for you.  If you have already taken it, you can serve as a table leader as well.

One Life.  It's All About Jesus.
