Staff Updates

Redeemer is pleased to welcome a new member to the staff this week and announce a transition for another staff member.

Georgianna Hildebrand will be the new nursery coordinator for Redeemer. Families and volunteers can meet Georgianna in the nursery starting Sunday, February 19 as she begins stepping into this important role within our children’s ministry.

Georgianna is a native of Kingsville, Texas. She and her husband, Bernard, met as students at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). After Bernard completed medical school in Houston, they returned to San Antonio. The Hildebrands, a military family for 13 years, attended Redeemer from 2006 until 2010, then moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where they were stationed at Nellis Air Force Base. They returned to San Antonio and Redeemer in 2013 with their three children Trey, Julie and Mariam, and are happy to be back home in Texas.

Please welcome Georgianna and encourage her as she serves the young children and families of our congregation.

Current Nursery Coordinator Haley Wachdorf will remain on the staff as communications coordinator for Redeemer, managing print publications, social media presence, Web site content and internal communications materials. Haley’s previous professional background is in journalism. Haley has served as nursery coordinator since 2015. She, her husband Dan, and their two children have attended Redeemer since 2010.
