We had a great day in Children's Ministry yesterday morning!

If you are wondering what your child is learning in their classes, this is the place to look!  Every week we have what the children learned posted here!

Training in the Pews

Songs we sang: The Golden Rule, Father Abraham, Open God's Word, Lord I Lift Your Name On High, He's Got the Whole World, 10,000 Reasons ("Bless The Lord Oh My Soul")
The Lesson: Taught by Dan & Haley Wachdorf
Genesis 12:1-9; Hebrews 11:8-10; Hebrews 13:14
The kids were asked what are some things you might take on a trip (we had a suitcase and some traveling items to show them). Then the kids learned about Abraham and how he obeyed the Lord's command to leave his home and go live in a new place!  They also learned that Jesus came from this family line!  Jesus is the one who can help us to obey God just like Abraham did.
