Expecting the good news.

This week I heard a piece of good news. It was a simple piece of news that took about four words to convey and does not impact me directly. But I knew it was news that had been hoped for a long time, and maybe because of that, hearing it was overpoweringly good. I jumped up out of my chair and clapped and was inappropriately loud in an office setting. I texted my husband on a business trip to tell it to him, too. Singing on Palm Sunday!

Children in Pre-K through first grade are invited to sing in the Palm Sunday service on Sunday, April 9. Children who wish to sing may be dropped off in the Training in the Pews room by 8:45 a.m. before the first service or 10:30 a.m. before the second service. Children are welcomed to participate in both services or just one.

Flooding in Peru

Recently, severe rains have battered the nation of Peru, causing widespread flooding in areas that usually receive a half-inch of rain each year. In the city of Trujillo, which has experienced flash flooding after 10 days of heavy storms, virtually every significant avenue and street has turned into a raging river. Peru Mission, a ministry partner of Redeemer based in Trujillo, which hosted a Redeemer mission team in the summer of 2016, has requested our support as they respond to this national tragedy.

New church plant in Northwest San Antonio!

The Session of Redeemer Presbyterian Church is pleased to announce that the Southwest Church Planting Network and South Texas Presbytery have selected Michael Novak to serve as the church planter for a new church plant in Northwest San Antonio slated to begin forming this summer.
Michael and Rachel Novak have served with Reformed University Fellowship at Trinity University for seven years, and have been members at Redeemer during that time as well. They will finish the semester with RUF at Trinity and plan to move to Northwest San Antonio ...

Just a reminder that we have just 2 more weeks for enrollment in choir! Please consider this great opporunity for your students (2nd-5th grade).
We are treating each semester of choir separately. What that means is that if you participated in the fall, you will not automatically be enrolled for the spring.
