A Letter from Pastor Paul Hahn

“How is it that we hear, each of us in his own native language?” — Acts 2:8
Dear Redeemer Family and Friends,
Greetings and Christ’s peace! This Sunday, July 26th, we have a beautiful opportunity to worship together with our Spanish- and English-speaking congregations in the sanctuary at 9:15 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Sections of several hymns and portions of our prayers will be offered in Spanish, with English translation. Pablo Chavarria will preach a homily in Spanish in our “Life of David” series, with Victor Martinez offering phrase-by-phrase translation. This should be a great experience for all of us, particularly for those who are English speakers. Plus, Pablo and Victor assure me that their combined preaching time will be shorter than one of Pastor Paul’s typical sermons. So, we have that going for us! In all seriousness, you won’t want to miss this important day in our life together as a congregation! This would be a great Sunday to invite a friend to join you here, whether she or he is primarily a Spanish speaker or an English speaker. I look forward to seeing you on Sunday, worshiping the Risen Christ, and sharing in his gospel hope together, each of us hearing the good news in our own native language!
Much love in Christ,
Paul
