Sandra McCracken & Ben Shive Concert

Redeemer is pleased to host a special evening with Sandra McCracken and Ben Shive. For a few years, Sandra and Ben have collaborated on a collection of songs for slowness and reflection: The Still Point. The name is taken from T.S. Eliot's Four Quartets:  "At the still point of the turning world."

This special concert will feature acoustic piano, guitar, vocals and a string quartet.

Sandra McCracken is a GRAMMY-nominated, Dove Award-winning singer-songwriter, author, and creative leader based in Nashville. With a career spanning 25 years and 18 solo albums, she has become one of the most prominent voices in modern hymnody and gospel-roots music—known for blending Americana, folk, and sacred tradition into songs that are both deeply personal and spiritually resonant.

Ben Shive is a producer, songwriter, arranger, and keyboardist. His longtime collaboration with singer-songwriter Andrew Peterson (Is He Worthy, Behold The Lamb Of God) is the cornerstone of a career spent in service of artists who advance the Kingdom of Jesus through beauty, honesty, and truth. As a producer, Ben has worked alongside Keith & Kristyn Getty, JJ Heller, The Gray Havens, Slugs & Bugs, Mercy Me, Colony House, Sandra McCracken, Dave Barnes, and many more. As an arranger and keyboardist, his credits include Amy Grant, Michael W. Smith, Steven Curtis Chapman, Chris Tomlin, and Ben Rector. Ben’s studio, the Beehive, is located in Nashville Tennessee, where Ben lives with his wife and four children.
