2017 Officer Elections

This week, the Session had the privilege of sitting down with those who have most recently completed officer training at Redeemer and is pleased to announce their candidacy for office in the class of 2020. Elections will be held on Sunday, June 4, immediately following the 10:45 a.m. worship service.

Candidates for the session include new elder candidate Bernard Hildebrand, and returning elders Jason Register and Jason Smith. Eligible to return to the diaconate are Rob Bondurant and Charlie Hargis. Please click here to read a bio of each officer candidate.

As required, the Session has instructed, examined and approved these men in the qualifications, duties and their willingness to assume responsibility for ordained office in the Presbyterian Church in America. They are now being recommended by the Session to the congregation to be elected at the upcoming congregational meeting on June 4.

The Session encourages the congregation to get to know these candidates and be prayerful for them and their families over the next month. It is important that we ask the Lord to guide us as we prepare to elect Redeemer’s newest leaders!
