This week, the Session had the privilege of sitting down with those who most recently have completed officer training at Redeemer as new officer candidates and with those officers who have been nominated to serve again after a sabbatical season and who sense the Lord’s call to return to active service as officers. The Session is pleased to announce their candidacy for office in the class of 2026. Elections will be held on Sunday, June 4th, at a congregational meeting immediately following the 11 a.m. worship service.

Reagan Winslow is a new candidate for the Session. Returning elders are Charley Hollimon and Henry Sauer.

Tim Gardner is a new candidate for the diaconate. Returning deacons are Walt Mays, Matt Michelson, and Ross Van Klaveren.

As required, the Session has instructed, examined and approved these men in the qualifications, duties and their willingness to assume responsibility for ordained office in the Presbyterian Church in America. They are now being recommended by the Session to the congregation to be elected at the upcoming congregational meeting on June 4th.

The Session encourages the congregation to get to know these candidates and to pray for them and their families over the next month. It is important that we ask the Lord to guide us as we prepare to elect Redeemer’s newest leaders.
