Today we announce a significant staff milestone in the life of Redeemer. Harriet Peavy, the first staff member of Redeemer, who in 17 years has served as bookkeeper, office manager and Assistant to Senior Pastor Tom Gibbs, will retire Harriet Peavyin June. We cannot adequately express our love and thanksgiving for Harriet and her contributions to Redeemer. There will be a congregational celebration of Harriet’s years of faithful, joyful service following the second worship service on Sunday, June 9th.

This transition on the staff is bringing about other changes. We are pleased to announce that Amy Arguello will join the RPC Staff as Ministries Coordinator, primarily assisting pastors Victor Martinez and Brad Tubbesing with the administrative tasks necessary to support their ministry areas, such as coordinating ministry events, community groups and mission trips. Amy Arguello

Amy and her husband, Eric, have been at Redeemer since 2014 and have two children, Samuel, 21, and Mia, 13. Amy is a native of Minnesota and worked for the U.S. Marshal Service for nine years, first in an administrative role, and later as a Deputy U.S. Marshal.

Suzette DeMent, Redeemer’s current Ministries Coordinator, who has filled that role since 2016, will remain on staff, transitioning into the job of RPC Bookkeeper. She is currently training under Harriet, and looks forward to continuing to serve Redeemer. Suzette DeMent

Please join us in welcoming Amy to the staff, encouraging Suzette in her new role, and thanking Harriet for her many years of service to Redeemer. We look forward to celebrating her together in June!
