Redeemer is pleased to welcome two summer interns to the RPC Youth Ministry program.  Hannah Anderson and Davy Evans will serve from May through August, assisting the Youthies with summer activities and travel to camps in Texas and Colorado.

Hannah Anderson is a native of San Antonio and a business management major at the University of Texas at San Antonio. She previously graduated from Northeast Lakeview College with an associate’s degree in business administration. She says her own time in youth groups and Christian community makes her eager to serve in ministry in this way.

“I am excited for all the youth events during the summer, but also all of the learning and deepening of my knowledge of Christ,” she says. “I am looking forward to witnessing God working in my own life and those around me.”

Davy Evans is a native of Houston and a mechanical engineering major at Texas A&M University. Davy previously served as a youth intern for his home church, Christ Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Houston, and during the school year he helped with youth ministry at Westminster Presbyterian Church, where he attends church in College Station.

Davy blog

“Working in youth ministry was such a blessing and joy for my life that I decided I wanted to continue serving,” he says. “I am excited to serve and worship God with the community of Redeemer.”

RPC Director of Youth Ministry Oscar Palin says he looks forward to this summer as a time of growth and fellowship for Redeemer Youthies.

“I am super excited to have these two with us this summer,” he says. “Both Davy and Hannah will be a great fit for our ministry and have hearts for students to hear the Gospel.”

Hannah’s first day will be May 23rd; Davy starts May 26th. Please join us in welcoming them to the Youthies, praying for them and encouraging them in their work as they serve students this summer!
